Ok if you knanything about the law or medician pleases give me your advise??? Ok well my dad went back in 2001 and was in and out of the hospital and one day he was in the local hospital and our family told them not to give him demerol and they did and they anyway and then he went to 2 more hospitals and they all gave him demerol and even though we complained about him behavor when he was on it and there was nothing done and then one time he was on it he was really messed up and stole drugs from the hospital and and went back to his room and then they found him and charged him with a felony well it turns out he's allergic to demerol and nobody noticed it or wanted to notice it now i need some legal medical advice please help can the felony be dropped and is it there fault

YOU NEED TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY. Stop posting about the incident on the internet, PLEASE, for your own sake.
Yes, it's the hospital's fault, they are liable for disobeying treatment orders given the patient or those in control of his care.
An experienced attorney should be able to have the charges dismissed.

wow unless you told them look he is allergic then they will give him what they see fit unless your father was unable to speak for himself and usually when someone goes to the hospital they sign release forms saying if something happens they aren't liable and as far as you suing them you would have to prove that what the ygave him actually had something to do with him snapping and taking the drugs other then that there is nothing they can do but I would still check with a lawyer the laws may be different where you are from but a lot of lawyers can phone lines that you can call and you tell them what the problem is and they will let you know if you have a case or if you are wasting your time so on and so fourth if they are not in your state call 411 and asking for a lawyer in Panama City Florida ~~~Good Luck

I am not a lawyer..I would think questions like...Was your father in his right mind...had he given you Power of Attorney to make decisiitons for him. If he did and the doctors had give the medicine against you or your father and it can be proven that he was not in his "right mind" when he took them then he might be able to get either taken off...or guilty but not temprarily insanity.
Don't know if that helps but I would consult a lawyer,

we all need to take responsibility for our mistakes ....quit covering for his actions its not all the drugs... or it is ..he stole drugs what the @@@@@ hes a thief and a druggie ..hope you all get some help... but why sue the next fix for ya all wont be on tax payers thank you
