"gay" also means "gay" in Spanish but you can also say "marica", which means fag or "maricon", whcih means f@g or f@ggot.

Even though "gay" is a word in English, it is accepted in the Spanish language. If you want a more "Spanish" word per se, you could go with "homosexual". Some people here have given you definitions, but they are "mexican slang", not what you would call "correct words". Hope my explanation can help!

u can say too homosexual (yes, it's the same word with other pronunciation)...

You can say GAY in spanish and everybody knows the meaning.
The transaltion could be "marica", "joto", "puto" , "afeminado"
I still think that "gay" is ok.
