WE are still to caught up in the pleasures of the physical body that we still forget where we came from until disaster comes into our lives. And then we cry WHY or GOD please help us.

I'm guilty of this one. When Things are going good I sometimes forget to be thankful, pray, or even read my bible. I do feel the conviction and ask God to help me get it right with him. You can say at times I take for granted what he has blessed me with. I 'm glad for those harsh times when I call on him, Because without those trails I would set myself to believe I don't need God, When I do. The only thing is to believe I am going to get it right with Him and continue to pray for obedience.

Because so many people are weak. Problem would be solved in people would get smart. Education is the answer. Not just reading, writing and arithmatic. Some science would help. Real science. And being open minded.

Most human beings are self-centered things. The only time most of us look outside of ourselves is when we are forced to - when times are harsh. Pain can be a great alarm clock...and God has to turn it up a lot!

For most people it's the only time they think of him or belive that they have need of him. Both are false states of being created by being born into a world of illusion and programed by said world.

If we accept the premise that there is a God in control of all things to the point praying to him (it?) has any effect, then we have to conclude he is responsible for the misery we may be encountering.
In which case, we should remember who is responsible for our plight and give him the recognition he (it?) deserves.
Why would anyone give thanks to a sadist who inflicts misery wherever he shows up? And, then demands to be worshiped for inflicting misery in the first place.
Bible based religions are such nonsense it's amazing adults waste their time trying to promote them.

This is a mystery indeed. The fact is we should love and praise Him and seek Him at all times but we don't. The good news is Jesus is faithful to be here for those who call on Him at all times anyways.
