Being is a state of existence or a person's essential character. Doing is a state of action or carrying out something. With regard to your question, a person can "be" a part of God's family, and also "do" things to get satisfaction, or find the meaning of life at the same time.

It sounds like you're actually implying that those who remain satisfied with being one of God's children are at fault. I'd say the difference is a desire to withdraw from taking a proactive role religiously. However, it is not of good faith to heavily condone the passive. At the very least they walk the same path, even if they don't draw people with them.

Reasonably speaking, there is likely far more satisfaction in "doing something." The proactive role puts the mind at ease. Personally, however, I am satisfied with my own understanding of 'Being,' which does not demand I draw anyone along my path. So 'Doing Something' is more a violation of my beliefs.

Being a part of God's family is just the first step...
Doing is living a life for God with all of your life...

Being like human being is a noun pertaining to human as a being...
Doing is a verb present tense...

IF I were a member of God's family, I'd immediately apply for divorce. The meaning of MY life has nothing whatsoever to do with god. It's wider than that.

Being in a particular way, action flows naturally , which is doing.
But to get established in being in a particular way, doing the relevant way helps. This doing is what various religions prescribe, despite the inherent hurdles, struggle etc.

I read once that there are two lives humans live. In service
to themselves, like a monk in a monastery. Or in service
to others, like a person helping in starving countries.
It depends on where one is on their path to God.
