My birthday is in December, so every year I fail to get reservations at this amazing NYC restaurant, because it is booked solid with Holiday parties. Even during the non-holiday season--at $150 per person--this place is extremely hard to get into.
Anyway, my boyfriend surprised me and secured us reservations for an evening in early August. But unknown to me, after dinner all the waiters came out and sung me "Happy Birthday!" and my boyfriend presented me with a birthday cake and gift.
What a December birthday in August!

My ex-boyfriend and I lived together for when we had our first valentines day. He was really cute. I was making dinner in the kitchen when he came up behind me covered my eyes and said come with me. He walked me into the living room and sitting on the bed/couch thingy was a chocolate rose, a red frog, a card with a frog with candy lips, the same valentines day card I got him, a real rose and a really sweet sappy card telling me how much he loved me. It was the first valentines day I ever go to spend with a boyfriend. He melted my heart that day.
Another really sweet time was when I was waiting for him in the jewelry store and he saw me looking at a little ring. The ring was only $100 and it is his birth stone. I loved it and wanted it really bad but I didn't ask for it. We were standing there looking at it and he told the clerk that we would get it. I have never taken it off, we are split up now but I still wear it, it was a sign of our happiness.

I would have to say on February 14,1994 Valentines Day. This is the day my hubby propose to me, it was a very special day and I will never forget it.. He rented a room in a motel and as he was opening the door of the room, all I could see wear candles. A table was ready for dinner for two and their was wine with two glasses. My heart was just beat ting super fast, I was so nervous. After dinner he got in his knees and propose to me, of course I said YES but the night was not over and in my mind I new something else was going to happen. Sure enough the moment was perfect. That night I lost my Virginity to the one man I new meant something to me. We made love it was so beautiful!!! I will never forget this wonderful day... I am happily married to this man already for 13 years and counting..

When my husband and I got married we didn't have a lot of money, so we really didn't have wedding rings. We got married in August of 04 and in Christmas of 05 he bought me a wedding set. It was a beautiful carat and a half diamond and a band to match. We were opening our presents on Christmas Eve and he held out for that to be the last one. We have had our fair share of problems and have split up a couple of times. So this was really unexpected. He had wrapped the rings in a little box and put it inside a bigger one so that I wouldn't know what it was. When I finally got it opened he put it on my finger and said, " We have known each other for 6 years and in that time I have been all over the united states and well lets just say I have been with enough people. I love you,I have loved you from the first time we kissed 6 years ago and still do. You are the only person I have ever loved and the only girl I evered wanted to marry. I'm sorry for everything that I have done to hurt you and I promise someday somehow I will make it up to you. Please stay me wife forever!" Needless to say I started crying and said yes.
Another time was when I was getting ready to move out of state. We weren't talking and he was back with his ex. I called him and wished him a happy birthday either the day before his birthday or the day of I can't remember, anyway, we were still really mad at each other and not really talking (which is what everyone wanted) but we talked fro about a half hour on the phone and then he asked me to meet him at one of his towing sites, that way noone would know we were meeting. I met him there and he gave me the biggest hug ever and kissed me on the forhead. He said always remember that I do love you, never forget that. Be safe on your flight and I will be down there with you soon enough. No matter what happens you are my one and only wife. I will never marry anyone else and I will never give you a divorce. I will always find a way to screw it up. Because I love you and I'm not giving up!
At the time that really pissed me off but now that he has moved to be closer tome and we are working things out I love him for saying that and foloowing through on being there. To this day no one know that he met me on that day!!
I know you said one but I have one more....
When I got home from work yesturday after my interview that I also had. There were 6 dozen red roses in beautiful vases in my living room. He had called the florist (he is in colorado right now and I am in Arizona) and had them delivered. Then he called my landlord and asked her to open my apartment so that they could be waiting for me when I got home. The card said: One dozen roses for every year I have loved you and ! rose for every minute I thought about you last night (the second is from one of my favorite movies) I love you and hope the interview went well. I'll see you in a couple weeks with another surprise.

I have two romantic moments: The first one was when my husband who was my boyfriend at the time, leaned me back in his arms and kissed me just like the characters in Gone with the Wind. I just wanted to melt on the floor.... The second moment
was when my husband proposed to me in our room and then a day or two later bought me roses.

When the guy I was just starting to date walked to the park with me and when we were walking back he stopped me under the street light and tried to kiss me. I'll never forget it. And he's my husband now. I love him so much.
