I was kinda addicted myself...up until two days ago. I bought a lime coke by accident, and the taste of it was so repulsive that I now associate the regular coke with that terrible flavor and smell. You should try it. You've got nothing to lose.
If you absolutely LOVE lime, then pour something else into it, like vodka.
If you absolutely LOVE vodka, try whisky.
If you absolutely LOVE whisky, you're hopeless, and I can't help you.

Well, I won't be mean or insulting like some others who responded, (and it will come back to them eventually if they don't stop). You are probably addicted to the sugar more than the caffeine, since pop does not have that much in it. The sugar causes your blood sugar level to go up and then bounce back down, making you feel refreshed and energetic and then the lift disappears and you may feel dizzy and lethargic, even dehydrated afterwards.
Try weaning yourself gradually by mixing the Coca Cola with Diet Coke and decrease it till you don't need it anymore. You can drink Diet instead for a while, but it isn't healthy in the long run, so don't give up. Fruit juice and sugary snacks have the same effect. To keep your blood sugar up, eat complex carbs and fruits and veggies at every meal and avoid white starch and sugar. It helps to have a snack of peanut butter and crackers or something with starch and a bit of fat in between.

Actually you are probably addicted to the sugar in the coke and the bubbles. In the distant past there was a small amount of cocaine in coke.
Find something else to drink that you like the taste of.. even cold spring water is a possible substitute. Usually one of the cold tea drinks or sports drinks can be an alternative, but read lables.

Well I love my Coca-Cola also. I drink it, collect stuff about it, love it in general. I know how you feel. I can offer no advice on how to get from drinking it since I am the same way. Just go through the lines that have pepsi machines. If you love coke the way you say you do then you won't even think about grabbing a pepsi.

Let me scare you into quitting. I have a friend who was addicted to coke and he developed diabetes because of all the sugar. He was drinking a liter a day. Also, the phosphorus in coke sucks calcuim out of your bones which is very bad, especially if you're a female because you can get osteoporosis. Stop now for your health. You can wean yourself off by switching to the sugar-free diet coke, but it still has the problem with the phosphorus, so your goal should be to stop drinking it all together.

I switched myself over to Diet Coke and can't stand the sugary stuff now. Not that Diet Coke is really that much better (I'm moving myself over to iced tea at the moment, my daily drinking outside of water is now about half and half), but at least you're cutting out the empty calories. I lost six pounds when I switched over.
ETA: No matter what you choose to do, don't cold-turkey yourself off of caffiene. That hurts. Badly. I've done it once before. If you move to a non caffienated drink, transition slowly for the sake of your daily life, otherwise you'll have nice debilitating headaches for a while.

I know what you mean. It will make you fat.
I used to drink it all the time till I found the corn sweetener they use hangs in your blood and takes lot longer to burn off than the cokes made with sugar.
I am down to one a day only if I have been "good"!

If you switch to diet, that's a first step. Try only buying fountain soda and mixing half-diet with the regular until you are used to not consuming all of that sugar.
It's the sugar that's hooking you. Once you are OK with drinking diet, switch to water or crystal light or something sugar-free.
