How much coffee do I put in the basket of a 30 cup coffee urn??

Check the label on the coffee tin. It should have directions to make a pot for 12 cups. Double that (that's for 24 cups) and put in a few extra scoops to make up for the 6 more needed to make 30.

Most people make coffee with one tablespoon per cup of water. 30 tablespoons is about 2 cups of coffee. (16 tablespoons per cup.)
