have had this problem quite a few times. All of a sudden some of my female friends start creating physical contact randomly. I've been good friends with them, but all of a sudden there is another dimension to the friendship, and it gets awkward a lotta times. I need some advice on what to do?

My take is -- if you get hugs and bumps and stuff, I only think they just like my company and are comfortable.

Now, if they touch my face -- then there is something more!

Just be honest with them and straight up. If you dont want a physical relationship, tell them or ask them what it is they want before it goes to a place thats too far and awkward. It doesn't have to be awkward if you are honest and gentle.

maybe since you have gotten to know each other, they want to be more than friends, you can explore that option or just let them know how awkward you feel when this happens, its all the facts of growing up

Hmm it seems to me they want "more" than a friendship or in the friendship...

It depends on how the touch you. IT normally means that they like you.

If she's just pushing you or touching your arms, then it's probably nothing. But if she's grabbing you balls, I would ask her out.
