Get out of the house!
Play basketball with your friends and go to the mall. Limit your games to an hour or two and slowly cut down.

You need to put down the controller, turn off the computer, game boy, xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo whatever and go for a walk. Join a sports team, whatever gets you out of the house. Take up a physical activity like karate, kickboxing. You will naturally build some muscle with just the activity. Most sports programs have a conditioning program to help you get into shape. Depending on how young you are it may or may not be a good idea to work in strength training. I think you should get fit and build muscle. Its the best think you can do for yourself and your metabolism. Your body will naturally either get big or lean.
If you truly are addicted to video games there are actually support groups to help. Seriously. My co-worker and her son apparently recently had to join one. She said it's been pretty bad.

All addictions are hard to quit. And yes, though you are a kid and lots of kids do it - YOU could be addicted. It's affecting your health, your school, your life. And it's obviously not making you happy.
It's hard, but bite the bullet and give it up. Put it in a box, give it to an aunt or uncle who doesn't live with you to keep for 1 year. You will find so many more things to do with your time once you try to do something! I bet you have talents you don't even know about.
It will take time to adjust to a different lifestyle, but in the end you may have so many friends and have so much to do that you won't want that idiot box back.
Try it.

Keep playin your video games, just not as much. Instead of playing as often as you do, go out for a walk. Start with that to build up your stamina and then turn that walk into a jog and then into a run. Start lifting weights slowly and gradually as well - don't over do it so you don't hurt yourself. Just start with simple things and progress from there. Just remember to take things slow so you don't hurt yourself. Also, watch what you eat too because that will obviously effect your weight too.

Play your games on a portable system like a game boy or psp, while walking on a treadmill or just going on a walk. So that way you get both things in 1 instead of giving up anything.
