or is it wrong for your puppy to do so, my puppy does it a lot and from time to time I kiss him but not on the mouth, what do you think? Different people tell me some weird stuff, I don't know what to think. I don't think it's wrong.

I forgot to mention, someone I know said dogs or cats get people aroused and it's wrong because it can bring something negative, (I don't know what that means)

OMG!!! Of course you can kiss your puppy!!!! That is the first thing as a praise!!!!! (too me!) Don't listen to the people that say it's weird stuff, THEY ARE TOTALLY WEIRD!! A puppy needs love!!! so do you! you and your puppy will feel good because you both know that you love each other!!!! so please, PLEASE kiss her!!!!! (i wouldn't kiss her on the mouth because all the germs and dirty stuffs, like smelling other dog's bum and liking their own bum, i think it is kinda gross...so I'd rather avoid letting her kiss me on the mouth, but you can kiss her on the ears and neck and head...etc...)
Hope this helped.

Kissing your puppy, or allowing your puppy to kiss you, is a personal preference. On the show Myth Busters, they were able to prove that a dog's tongue is actually a great deal cleaner and has less bacteria than that of a human, despite some of the yucks that dogs put into their mouths. I've had many, many dogs over the years and I've kissed each and every one of them, and they me. So go ahead, enjoy your puppy's kisses and give it kisses back.

How can you not? I kiss my dogs a dozen times a day! Granted, I've never done it on the mouth -- I usually kiss the tops of their heads or the tops of their snouts, where their tongues can't reach, but I know plenty of people who kiss their dogs on the mouth, and they're all still alive and well. To each his own, I guess, but show your dogs the affection that you want to.

I kiss my dogs and my dogs kiss me. Nothing wrong with it, if it is like a mother kissing a child, or a child kissing a mother. There are some morons on here tho that I know will make something disgusting out of this question, but those are some very sick individuals.

There is nothing wrong with showing affection for your dog, and that includes kissing him. As far as kissing him on the mouth I know people who kiss their dogs there all the time ( and there is nothing wrong with it), but I choose not to because who knows where that mouth has been! :) Its good you love your dog so much though!

AH HAH you have one of those weiddos that think all affection is sex. If you are kissing the pup trying to convince it to let you have sex with it is wrong and highly likely to get you bitten. If you showing affection or if pup is licking you as affection/bonding that FINE. Bout half the people with dogs probably have done so & about 99% of the dogs have licked thier owners. Ignore the sickos- its them, not you (or your dog)
PS I will note there is a religious probition against letting a dog lick you in the muslum religion. an entirly different stiuation.

I kiss my cat more often than I kiss my husband. My dog also, but less. It is not very hygienically correct, but if it is your own animal and you know it is healthy and clean, well, you can't help it, can you? It is true that hands should be washed after touching them though, and lips, I guess, because they have different parasites than us.
