i'm an 16-year-old international student . and i've just been in canada for 1 year , can i get it before going to university ? ( i'll graduate from high school next year )

hey, it's a long & involved & costly process, I know because my husband & I are goıng through it. Also try & check out www.cic.gc.ca however, the site is not user friendly! You could call their call centre, some nice helpful people there I think it's 1-888-242-2100 from in Canada agents answer calls basically 9-4 ET. Good Luck

I have a permanent resident card for the US. It required a high school education, some money (around $400) and someone in the US to sign a piece of paper saying that he will support me in case of unemployment. also, it required a lot of luck, because I 'won' it in the 'green card lottery'.
I don't know how that works in Canada. Check if they have green card lotteries there, too. if not, you'll probably have to go with a regular student visa to go to university.

No. Firstly, its quite a process. It takes several years. And at your age, you're not an adult yet. You can't apply on your own.
