for most men logical thinking is natural because they do think with mostly their brains and not their feelings there's over emotional men who don't think with their brains and there's woman who are less emotional and think logically
and if you're parents are logical thinkers then you are most likely to be a logical thinker
so id have to say natural
you may learn to put your emotions aside and let logic work,

i think that logical thinking is natural for some people and that other people can learn to think logical and others just cant learn it at all.

I think it is both. I think one has to have a predispostion for it and then if one studies and learns how to think logically s/he develops this potential. Get a simple little but oh so logical book entitled HOW WE THINK by the American philosopjher John Dewey and if you've got the potential he will show you how to create logical habits of thinking in yourself.

To me, it is learned as I think that most mathematicians have this common sense in dealing life, and most of them are morons who doesn't mind other people's emotions.
