For me, it's when Mormons come a'knocking and they tell me that both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are infallible, when they completely contradict one another.

I just heard this from some idiot on a question about the big bang.
The concept that the universe started with a violent explosion can only have been created in the mind of a disturbed and violent human. The ALL is love. Does that create violence?
he fails to understand that with out energy there can be no life.

I want to preface this with this--I am a Christian and this is the biggest part of who I am. However, what makes no sense to me is when Zealot-type Christians hit unbelievers over the head with their faith. It simply will not win anyone over to our side, it will, in fact, chase them away - they are left thinking - man I don't want any part of that insanity.
I've been accosted by them as well, and my answer that I am a Christian isn't good enough - they keep on at me.
I will gladly share my faith or answer questions for non-believers, but I know I cannot drag them kicking and screaming to God.

how about supporting the death penalty and being pro-life. How about god being a loving and caring god, but also a vengful god that has slaughtered thousands and sent them to a wretched pit of dispare. How about everything that Hitler ever said. How about torturing Galeleo for stating that he thought the world was round. How about throwing a woman in the river, if she floats she's a witch and we burn her, if she drowns she wasn't a witch.
shall I keep going?

That a God of love would burn his children in hell fire. How does that make sense? It would be like you telling your son over and over again to be home at midnight and he continually broke curfew until one day you say okay enough is enough take him over to the stove and stick his hand to the hot eye. Would that be a way to punish him? No it would be stupid and child abuse yet that is what we are expected to believe our heavenly Father will do to us for disobeying??!!

We couldn't possibly be related to apes, however we could have been created from dirt.
You should believe, just in case.
God created the banana to be the perfect food, complete with pull tab, when, in reality, without human genetic modification, the banana "God created" is nearly inedible.

That the bible has all the answers, but if you don't believe in the bible before you read it, god has made it so that you won't be able to understand it.
