That's a tough one. I guess you should wait until it feels natural. If you think its too soon it probably is.

If you are a woman DO NOT say it until the man says it first. Otherwise you end up looking naive, foolish and desperate, i.e. like a woman who is to be taken advantage of because she's so easily smitten and he (no matter how nice he is) won't be able to do anything but think that he has all of the cards/power in the relationship because, she's the one who's "in love". Therefore if you are a woman and the guy are are dating hasn't said it 7 months into the relationship YOU DON'T say it either, no matter how much you may feel it. If you are a man all I can say is that if you say it prior to dating the woman regularly for at least 1 month (and that's a bare minimum!) she will a) think you are a wannabe "player" and totally full of crap, b) you are an idiotic simpleton who says "I love you" to every woman you meet. c) You can't tell the difference between lust and love. So men IMHO should also be cautious about throwing this very important phrase about carelessly.

Too soon is saying it as soon as you get together. We hear that word too often especially from teenagers. Usually we see on TV shows where they wait months until they really are in love to say "i love you". they wait for the perfect moment and when they are SURE they feel it. once you get it out, you cant take it back. dont say it just to say it and not mean it. too soon seems to be everyones case.. the word "love" has lost its meaning.

Depends on what kind of relationship that you two have. Do you honestly know what love is? It is a very fine line to between love and lust. Real love is really hard to find and I have been very lucky and I found it. I wish you luck and saying "I love you"...they are the hardest three words to say for some people

When you know that it's love. My husband and I told each other 'I love you' before we got into a relationship - as a matter of fact, he first told me that he loved me when we were 10 years old. So I'm not sure what normal people do...but whenever you know its love, and that the other person feels the same way. Thats what seems right to me.

Wait until you mean it and are "in love" w/ that person. Those words shouldnt be something that u "feel" that u have to say to get the point across that u want to be w/ someone. Would u change your life for that person? If u say no then u dont love them.

++Its kind of like an equation. If you like the person, and they like you, that's great. But you have to make sure that its not lust, but love. If you recently met the person and are asking the question, because you aren't sure....it's probably lust. But if you've known the person for a long time, and feel a good solid connection between the two of you, it's probably love.

There is no specific time to say I Love You to a special person. If you feel you love him then say it now before its too late. You will not lose anything if you tell him what you really feels.

Seven months, fourteen days, five hours and three seconds from the day that you first kissed. JK ;p It is not a thing you can put on a time line. i told my husband I loved him three months into dating and he finally said it back six months into dating. It is al in how you feel. If you feel it say it, but don't expect the other person to say it back. They may not be ready.
