First, I think myself what was the purpose of this explosion...there's go to be a motive, a superior conscience which decided to create an explosion in the vast emptiness that was before the big bang. I see it from both logical and non logical..cause maybe what we all believe isn't what it is...who said the earth was flat and the sun moves around earth..we humans back in that time, but no there was people who thought different and were looked as maniacs and even killed for that cause. So I conclude by thinkin this way god is the explosion, he lives within every space of the universe and other dimensions which the eye can't see...like can u see infrared rays with ur eyes ..no right. The spectrum of life is infinite just like God.

The universe was not always here, and this may not be the only universe. "Our" universe is the one that we know, and it was created somewhere between 15-17 billion years ago. Most scientists call the even the Big Bang. Our sun is about 5.6-6 billion years old and has about another 5-6 billion before it goes into its red giant phase. That will basically be the end of our solar system, or at least earth. The universe is also not infinite but is continuously expanding at the speed of light. Right now it looks as if the universe is going to continue to expand, which means that eventually solar systems and galaxies will be pulled apart and everything will freeze. The other theory is that maybe gravity will become greater than the force causing the universe to expand and pull everything back together in the "Big Crunch." They have weird names for these things. Either way the future for the universe looks bleak. These are things that most cosmologist have agreed upon, so it is from a purely scientific standpoint. I'm not saying that god doesn't exist, but he is what each person makes of him.

How about both....what came before the explosion....How about the universe was never created because it always existed. I know this is a tough concept to understand but one thing you have to get straight is that there doesn't always have to be a disagreement between people with scientific observations and theories and people who believe in a GOD....in fact they can co-exist very nicely...I happen to believe that evolution is a fact AND there must be a higher power or universal intelligence....and BTW the evolution of life cannot be separated from the evolution of non-living things in the manifested world....it is the same evolution....everything in the manifested world whether it is carbon based life or a stone has a life. So stop attributing a war or conflict every time you cannot understand something...

There was a big bang and that's Genesis.
The Principal of creation is Ex nihilo. Something from nothing.Yes it's an expanding universe. G created something the size of a mustard seed (Nachmonides) that was pure energy and the rest is history.
As far as age 5766 soon to be 5767. As for C-14 testing well if Raelians would have come to earth on day 2 and looked at a 18 year old Adam they would have had proof positive that the world is 18 years old. If G can make an 18 yr.old human He certainly can create 50 Million year old rocks.

The concept that the universe started with a violent explosion can only have been created in the mind of a disturbed and violent human. The ALL is love. Does that create violence?

Neither, the so called big bang was an inevitable outcome to the natural laws of the physical universe given the right circumstances. Not that I actually believe this, but it is the most probable explanation with the data that we have today.

Your question assumes the two ideas of creation by God, and the Big Bang Theory are mutually exclusive.
I believe that how ever the universe was created, God did it.

It's not a war at all. Did it ever dawn on you that BOTH could be true? Did it ever occur to you that god caused the explosion? Think about it.
