i'm american and live half time in america and half in england. there's nothing to be scared about. england is a lovely place and i haven't yet met a bad person, although i know there are some because bad people can be found anywhere. the people and lifestyle are not nearly as different from the us as both sides would like us to believe. there are obvious differences, such as the accents and driving on the opposite side of the road, but you'll adjust to those things in no time at all. i think you'll enjoy it.

We share the same gene pool so expect that we are very similar in nature and background. The vast majority of Americans are decedents of England. We share the same language and now the money is easy to figure out. We both use the decimal system of money, just a different name. You'll have no trouble. Just stay street smart like at home.

You will feel totally at home!
Not only the language, but most of the life style.
whilst there is a bit more of class conscientious,
you will easily acclimate.
Depending upon where you are coming from,
the cities will be much more civil - virtually no crime,
and the country will be much like living in the past -
in America. Go for it! - Jack
