Yes. That's why many believe that the Paladin Profanity Patrol may actually, on occasion, be the very voice of God. Only during Republican administrations, though. Especially the Thule ones. Potty-mouth. That's what we use to call it. Potty-mouth. BURN IN HELL YOU POTTY-MOUTH HEATHENS!!! Oh, Dear God.

I don't think that profanity is socially acceptable. I grew up with parents who never swore, at least, not in front of us. I am trying to teach my stepson the same ethics. We have friends that come over to our house, and they swear in front of my stepson, he giggles, he's 13, and I KNOW that he doesn't swear, but other people don't care how you are trying to raise your children. There used to be a decorum of how you acted in public, and that seems to have been thrown by the wayside! No respect for people who are older, people who hold customer service jobs, people who have authority, teachers, or otherwise! I was taught to respect my elders, my teachers, law enforcement, my parents friends and neighbors, but nobody is teaching that now! Now it's like you can cuss out whomever you want, whenever, and get away with it!!!

profanity has become like any other word used today. nobody frowns up or looks down on anybody who uses it because society has accepted it.

Yes it has. It is very common. I recently switched jobs and 90% of the people here curse terribly. It is so unprofessional. I hate it.
