I have been that some one on the side. It was really not that bad. He is the one that started the relationship and he is the one that pursued it. I don't regret anything that I did, and I never will. I was happy and even thought things didn't work out it was a happy time in my life that I will always cherish.

I've been that "someone" and it's tough. It's morally wrong and I can't believe I let myself fall so low but I was in love and in the end I had what it took to steal him from his wife. He's now seperated and been with me for over a year. Having said that though, I would not recommend it to anybody.... It usually only ends in heartbreak! I was one of the lucky ones. But in the end it does take 2 to tango.......

he is already there, but that would make you an accomplice and willing participant of the crime of adultery. don't think that his wife wouldn't be severely pissed if she found out. ESPECIALLY if she's a friend of yours. in real life, if you're with a group of people who do horrible things and you don't, you still get hauled off to jail.
to agree to be that little somethin on the side is to encourage and justify his actions. how would you feel if someone did this to you? you can argue that if it wasn't you, it'd be someone else... but why participate in it? it can't easily amount to anything, and if anyone found out (especially if they have kids) everyone would be pissed off at you. do you really want all that drama for yourself?
it's unnecessary and unwise...

I guess if you're just in it for the sexual gratification it's fine from that highly rationalized point of view, but it would kind of suck for starting a relationship, don't you think? Not to mention the fact that "two wrongs dont make a right" and all. Just because he's chosen to disregard his marriage doesn't mean you have to disregard it.

Well, you have to be willing to play "second fiddle" and live with his schedule, etc. You have to ask yourself if you are morally ok with it. You have to realize that you may end up getting hurt. Most guys don't leave their wives for the other woman. If all you are looking for is a "good time" sometimes it can be that.

Very bad. The "someone" can refuse to go along with his philandering. It's not like he is forcing her. She can, and should, say no. Who would want to be a homewrecker and who would want a piece of crap that would cheat on his wife?
