u know, the overbearing mother in law from 'Everybody Loves Raymond', Wow some people really don't know who that is.... o well now u do.

I sure do! The most annoying thing she does..............
She tells everyone, I mean EVERYONE, while I am standing there, while I am not even there, that my kids are the grand kids she never sees. She makes it sound like we live in California or something! We only live like 20 minutes away and my son goes over all the time to spend the night, we go over there to eat lunch. Then she tells people when we DO come over there we are only there for 15 minutes. When REALLY, we stay over there so long that I am dying to leave and I spend all afternoon helping them with their computer!

Mines more like a creature from hell. She hates me and I never did anything to her. I send her cards on ALL ocassions that are special to her and make sure my husband calls her every weekend. I on the other hand never received anything from her! The only thing she ever did for me was raise a wonderful man for me to love.

yes...she told me and my husband tonight that we have to volunteer or join a citizen's organization or get involved in the city's politics because "we don't do enough for our society." Meanwhile, I've been dealing with my mom's house going into foreclosure, my husband just went to the funeral of a co-worker that committed suicide, and we take care and live with her 90 year old father.
