I like it. We were all born atheist, and every other animal on Earth is an atheist, does that make man kind crazy?

Yeah, once upon a time some people believed in, worshiped, sacrificed to, the sun god. Some may have worshiped and believed in, the god of the moon, the god of fire, the god of a mountain, and the Bible tells of people that built an alter to worship an "unknown" god. There is no such god of any of the above. Would any sane person think that fire, the moon, etc. could hear them and do something to help them? ...Not! The only true God, the God I believe in, is the God of the Bible.

I agree with Maverick, it's a very ignorant statement, sounds like someone is trying too hard to sound intelligent about something he hasn't a clue about.
Mabe Mr. Dawkins should stick to what he does know and have respect for others beliefs.

Good quote.
And proof that one shouldn't believe in anything.
However...thinking itself, just like believing is an action of the mind. If there is anything as truth, you will not find it by thinking; but by going beyond the thinking. At that point the concept of God or No-God becomes irrelevant.

I'm not sure i get it. To me the definition of an athiest is that they don't believe in a higher power. So this quote really doesn't support that theory.

Great quote. You can find a lot of great atheist quotes on thinkexist.com
Dawkins was a great mind.
I have a quote for you. "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediorce minds." Albert Einstein
You are encountering a lot of mediocre minds here.
