NutraSweet contains the chemical Aspartame as the sweetener. Aspartame was originally invented as a powerful ANT POISON. There is a couple of sites on the Internet warning against eating anything containing Aspartame as it is suspected of causing many serious illnesses. In fact a few weeks ago someone said use anything containing Aspartame sprinkled wherever they have an ant problem and it solves the ant problem including Fire Ants.

Nutrasweet is a chemical artificial sweetener. It does not have bacteria in it unless it got contaminated. All artificial sweeteners are neurotoxins and each and everyone of them has a toll-free number to call a lawyer who represents clients who have already sued them.
Oh, that Stevia stuff is no good either. Sure, it is natural, but it causes hypertension and raises your blood pressure. Some brands of Stevia have a warning about this right on the label. Better to use real sugar but not as much.

It's not made of bacteria and it's not made from sugar. All artificial sweeteners are made of compounds that are similar to sugar, which is why they taste sweet. These compounds are made in a lab and they add a few extra molecules so your body can't break them down, hence they have no calories.
Artificial sweeteners are really bad for you and your sister is right no to eat them. They may cause cancer and Alzheimer's because when some of the molecules are absorbed by the body they can't be broken down so they build up in various places around the body and cause problems.

Incorrect. It is not made from bacteria. It is a sugar substitute And to the poster who said it IS sugar, wrong again. Sucralose is made from sugar and other chemicals and is marketed under the name Splenda. Nutrasweet is Aspartame.

You shouldn't use NutraSweet/Equal or any other synthetic sugar substitute. They all contain chemicals.

Try Stevia if you want a sugar you don't have to ask questions about. You can get it at Trader Joes or other natural food markets.

Nothing should have bad bacteria unless its contaminated. The good bacteria (lactobacillus) is only found in fermented dairy such as yogurt or probiotics which is added to specially dietary pills or formula's which is sold for that purpose

I know it is very bad for you.. I thought it was the chemicals left in it from the process of making it.. same with Splenda.
