I think a small segment of Muslims have twisted a legitimate religion into something violent. Most are kind, peaceful people, and are in just as much danger as those of us who are non-Muslim.

Islam does not support terrorism but 99% of international terrorists are of Islamic belief, who go to the mosque regularly. Perhaps they interpret Islam in an extreme way or they are brainwashed by some Islamic leaders.
Are all Muslims terrorists? Of course not, just a very small percentage. That's why Muslims are allowed to enter planes and go to non Islamic countries.
About weapons, western countries sell weapons to Islamic and non Islamic countries for military use.
Would I study Islam from trusted sites? Yes. Where are they?

Islam has NOTHING to do with terrorism. Muslim people are HUMANS and that is why they are treated like humans and allowed to 'enter planes' and 'countries', with the exception of Israel that treats every non-Jewish as a pawn for sacrifice.
yes i'd study Islam from trusted Islamic sites. Yes all bad things about Islam are lies and people who use Islam as an excuse to cause atrocities are NOT MUSLIMS by Islamic definition. The only time when Muslims are allowed to commit violent acts against FELLOW HUMANS is under self-defence.
When the Muslim people are being oppressed, murdered and sanctioned against.... there is a cause for self-defence. If you say the current war and steryotyping of Muslims is 'ok' then I say their attempts at self-defence is just fine. Not terrorism. If you call them terrorists, then so are we in the west cause we're no different. We just rule the media and can brainwash people easily.

Thank you Marissa and tinuviel you put it perfectly. and what do you mean not allowing Muslims to enter non- Muslim conutries or fly on planes? What is a non-Islamic country? if you mean a western country than I was born in a western country and am western of culture. i love my country , participate in Austraian life and celebrations and have many non-muslim friends. infact half my family isn't muslim.
And why the hell can't i get on an plane? do you want to go back to the days of apartheid? Should i demand that white people can't by beddng and sheets incase they are members of the Klu Klux Klan?

No. I don't believe that Islam supports terrorism. Islam is a huge, well respected religion that teaches good and well adopted ideas of how mankind should function inorder to do so properly. It is also a religion that believes in God, and whoever loves God and listens to his teachings carefully, would want to be a good and a happily living person. Islam teaches you to help others, to give money for the needy, to support others in any way you can, and most importantly to be good and to worship God properly. Islam does not support terrorism, as an act of terror in children, and people's souls and minds does not come when you embrace this amazing peaceful religion!

I think that many terrorists are Muslim but I know that not all Muslims are terrorists. I've studied Islam (just as I have studied Judaism and Christianity) and I know that it has its good points and its bad points...just like any other religion. I don't think badly of Islam. I do however think badly of people who do not educate themselves and continue to spout utter nonsense about a religion they so obviously know nothing about. It's time to turn off the tv and get yourself to a library to read about the world.
And to the poster above me...if jihad really concerns you so much you should learn more about it. It seems like you only know it to mean holy war...and as many Muslims will tell you that is just a small part of jihad.

I believe that very few support terrorism. It is the radicals only who are terrorist, or support terrorism. I know, like, and love many Muslims personally. In general they are a very loving, caring, peaceful group of people. They are all suffering the consequences of Bin Laden's actions and that just isn't fair.

i believe that what i have learned and researched about Islam does not warrant terrorism. the acts of terrorism are from extremists who twist Islam to suit their own needs.

Most muslims don't feel that Isam supports terrorism. A small majority feels that it does. Not having read the Quran myself, I'm not in a position to draw any conclusions.

All Islamic sites carry false translations of the Quran and are un-trustworthy.
99.9% Muslims do not understand Quran and use Jesus to mislead from the Path of Allah.
