1. Yes I have, I almost cried when Penny (lil Janet Jackson) on Good Times was being abused by her mother (an actress, not her real mom)

2. It may sound funny but Old Yeller was a tear jerker at the end, and My Dog Spot!

3. MJB and Faith Evans.....I have always been able to relate to them, man some of those songs were dead on with what I was going through and still go through.

4. Ok Ok Ok! I'm a sucker when it comes to Their Eyes Were Watching God! When she had to kill Tea Cake, the one she loved with all her heart....man!

5. Mostly the choir, and sometimes what the pastor may say might touch me in a way to where I wanna cry.....BUT I think it's about the same....it's whatever touches my heart at the time, especially if I can relate to it.....

I kinda have an idea where you're going with this, well I hope you find the answers you are looking for.... and no I'm not christian or an atheist, I guess I'm in between finding my way

I'm Christian, specifically Seventh-Day Adventist

I'm not sure what kind of emotions you're asking for, but I'm assuming emotions from a philosophical aspect, like emotions that require deep thinking and thought...

No, I haven't really experienced any emotions from watching TV...maybe a few times from good shows like Lost, and House

Yes, I've had emotional experiences watching films...more often than TV

I always have emotional experiences while listening to music...music is a great passion of mine, and it's a part of my spirituality

I have some emotional experiences from good readings

Church doesn't really move me, unless I feel a really good heart-felt message from the pastor (very rare)...Sometimes church seems like it's just a show and a face that christians put on, and don't really act on it...which I'm very sad about. I think what moves me most is music, because when I'm listening to music, that's when I'm the most contemplative of life and things I take for granted.

Yes I can get emotional easily over some things. I don't like movies or things that purposefully try to squeeze feelings out of you, but there are some very honest things that touch parts of our hearts....and I love that. About movies, books, music. I also love being in church, listening to God's word (so affirming) and praise and worship, which is a joy. I was watching the TV programs about 9/11 the other day, I can't describe the feelings I had, it was really emotional, in a way I've never experienced before. Except, of course, the day it happened.

Yes to all of your questions. The cool thing is that God is not limited to communicating with you at church. He does it through people, nature, experiences, music, art, films, and so many other ways. Enjoy the special communication channel that he has with you. Don't put him in a box forcing yourself to enjoy church more than anything else. Church is great, but it's not the only place where you can find God. He's everywhere!

Christian.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and no, church does not move me more. In an emotional sense, films, music and books move me more than church, but church is very important to me. I am usually moved by my relationship with Christ and concern for others (or with guilt over my lack of concern for others), and this can happen whether through church or art.

I was very moved by "Hotel Rwanda," for instance, and equally moved by the Christian novel "A Time to Dance," by Karen Kingsbury. I was recently moved by "The Libertine," and I was also recently moved while during prayer and Bible study I was convicted of ignoring the Lord and neglecting prayer and concern for others. I am moved by my relationships with others, for instance with my liberal Christian friend who is constantly reminding me of the poor and how they are oppressed and how God cares for them.

Yes to the first set of questions.

Church can move me, however it is not "church" that is important to my faith.

My personal relationship with God is what moves me most. Everything else relates back to that relationship and the relationships I have with the people God has put in my life.

I get emotional for all of that. Except church of course. Watching football gets my emotion pumping the most I would say though.
