that means that you are just allergic to it.
my mouth gets itchy when i eat watermelon and sometimes bananas.

TIP : wash the fruits like apples and pears and peaches in warm to hot water for a few seconds and when you eat the fruit you will not itch...

sounds funny, but it works!!!!

when my dad eats peaches with the skin on, his lips puff way up lol---I also have a friend that the same thing happens when he eats apples with the skin on lol--sucks for them but funny for the rest of us. sorry to hear about your fruit problem--just very well may be an allergy. when I try to drink gatorade, my throat gets very itchy & dry & I end up coughing up a lung--same with black pepper. so I just avoid those things

Most citrus fruits contain substances that makes you itch...why dont you try mild fruits like bananas....bananas are also loaded with lots of vitamins...its one of the best fruits to eat around. Tennis players often snack on them don't they?

Depends on alot of factors. All fruit or just some fruit is it a specific color of fruit or all acidic fruits or is it non acidic fruits. All these questions need to be answered before your question can be answered.

what kind of fruits? if you have reactions to apples, peaches, strawberries, tree nuts, and/or kiwis, then it's birch tree pollen you are allergic to.

there are others.

Ask your doctor when you go in for your next appointment.

Allergies can cause this as well as other medical problems not currently diagnosed!
