I had the most disturbing dream last night that I was pregnant but there was no earthly way I could be. It was completely bizarre to try to explain it to people. I'm not asking if you think it's possible or if it has ever happened. How would you react if it happened to you?
I'm sure some of you would be ecstatic to be "serving the lord" in that way, but I want to know how you would deal with it all in the "real" world of believers and skeptics alike.

The Immaculate Conception actually refers to Mary being conceived by Sts. Ann and Joachim. Mary was conceived without sin in order to be a clean temple for the Lord as she carried Him inside her for nine months.

Sigh... Dreaming you are pregnant doesn't literally mean you will be. Dreams represent different things. If the dreamer is a woman and you dream you are pregnant then you will see a big increase in your income, but if you are unwed and sad you will experience losses. For a man to dream that he is the father of the child he is warned about indiscriminate sexual relations and one night stands. It doen't mean that you will bear the second coming of Christ or anything.

The Immaculate conception is: Mary was born without original sin
the virgin birth is not called the Immaculate Conception....
Now about your question to "serve God" is a way of life, it isn't something that you can be convinced of, it is something you choose...that is if you want to...the rest is your journey

Wow, that could be a bit of a curse. The trouble and pain of pregnancy without the fun of getting there. At least you'd have a pretty child to look forward to.

Truthfully--and as selfish as this may sound--I would be absolutely horrified and devastated. Pregnancy was a traumatic experience for me...physically and mentally. Make no mistake...I love and am so very grateful for the two children I have...but I absolutely could not handle another pregnancy.

I would find myself a "Joseph" fast!! Considering my current husband would leave me for thinking I cheated on him, he would never believe it, unless an angel came to him and told him what's up. And not tell anyone, unless I wanted to be locked up in a mental institution!

First of all I would just think that my husband was the culprit and I'd be like, "oh my God, my tubal ligation failed."
