If Satan created the tsunami, why didn't God stop it. Absolute power begats absolute responsibility

God is in charge of the entire universe, including the weather, so he therefore created the tsunami. God chose to kill 250,000 people because he has a way for good to come out of it. Think about it this way. You're basically asking why God allows bad things to happen. If nothing bad ever happened in this world, it would be extremely boring and we wouldn't be able to learn from our mistakes because we don't make any mistakes. It's like watching a boring movie where everything goes perfectly and nothing goes wrong. A know the tsunami was a terrible thing, but in the Bible it says that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. I hope this answeres your question.

I've been a Christian practically my entire life and there are some things I just can't answer. I keep a mental list of things I want to ask God when I get to Heaven and the human suffering question is at the top of the list. I do know that I choose not to blame God for nature disasters or disasters of any kind. Could God have stopped the tsunami? Of course. Why didn't he? I have no idea. His ways are not our ways that's what makes Him God.

Satan said God does not deserve the right to rule and humans could rule themselves. God knows this is not true but he also knows that neither angels or humans will be absolutely certain without proof. So, because he can undo all the harm that results from this time of proving, he is allowing Satan the opportunity to see what he can accomplish. To some extent, Satan has turned some humans and angels against God, but he cannot prevail.

God didn't create the tsunami, it was an act of nature, And no God didn't stop it, just like he doesn't stop when hurricanes hit the USA HE don't interfere with things like this. But it hurts him when things like this happens, He don't like to see people killed. Satan, didn't create it either, it was simply an act of nature. God, cries when these things happen, these are his children that were killed.

Simple, God has power over everything and Satan has none other than that granted by God. Many destructions have been brought upon a people (those who have gotten soo lost that they have become abominations) like the destruction brought upon the people of Noah and Lot. It could be that there was something going on that necessitated it but since God decides all and we dont know the mind of God, we cannot begin to comprehend "why." However, be assured that God's actions are for the GOOD of everything (which we dont know); after all, He has ninty nine names and all of them are attribute only he has!

great question, Bob somebody. I too have an identical subject as you, and that i'm nevertheless searching for a valid answer. it rather is been killing me for years. i've got study in the process the comments decrease than and inspite of perfect efforts no longer a one scratches the exterior to a actual answer. i do no longer have faith God created us with the "motive of utter failure". I do have faith he meant to create some thing (us) that had the flexibility to freely decide directly to love him or no longer. to 3 quantity it rather is as though God is calling for actual companionship. after all, he might have created a protection stress of robotic-like people that enjoyed him with the aid of fact he made them love him. it rather is like being in a relationship - could you extremely have a female love you considering which you held a gun to her head (that may not be love), or a female that loves you freely? I in some circumstances ponder whether God is lonely.

the earth created the tsunami i dont know why people dont look at the earth as a living breathing planet its a live and the earth its self has its own free will. god did not create or stop it because it was a natural occurrence. we were born to die. this life isn't as important to god as our immortal soul. this life is temporary and our body's die were as our spirit lives on, in short a fleshly life doesn't matter but your spiritual life does. our spiritual being belongs to god and our fleshly being belongs to the earth you cant harm the earth with out her fighting back. if any one is to blame for the tsunami it is us and our pollution. we are causing all of this by destroying the world natural ecosystem. can you not tip a glass of water over with out spilling it.

"Why does God allow death and suffering?" A seemingly unanswerable question...until you decide to read scripture as it is plainly written.

In Genesis, we are told that God created everything "very good" on Day 6, and then he rested on Day 7. His creative act was finished, and the Earth was a paradise. He had created Man in his image (and woman from Man's side), whom he desired to fellowship with.

But God, rather than making us robots, gave us the will to choose right from wrong. God left only one command.....ONE. And man still disobeyed that.

We are told that at the moment of betrayal, sin entered the world, and hand in hand, death. Now, it tells us in Romans that even all of creation is trevailing and groaning.

So, when you ask a question like "Why did God allow all those people to die during the Tsunami", you're asking the wrong question. The real question is, "Why are we ALL going to die?" And the answer is because of sin.

The good news is, God, in his infinite mercy, chose not to leave us without a way to become right with him, so he sent his only Son to die for our sins. So despite being in this world of chaos and death, we may still know him, fellowship with him, and one day be taken up to be with him for all eternity.

I pray that you will consider my words and truly examine them.

Who said God created the tsunami? God can do anything at any time, it doesn't mean He does.
