I am finding it difficult to keep a conversation with a girl, probably because I run out of things to talk about. Any suggestions? thanks

Ask her questions about herself. It will show you are interested in her. Ask what her favourite music, movies, TV shows are. Ask about her family. Good Luck.

If you're just getting to know her, avoid serious topics like politics, religion, or boring cookie-cutter crap like the weather. Be slightly cocky but not arrogant. Keep it light and humorous, maybe about something ridiculous that happened to you that week. Find something humorous about the environment around you, and joke about it. Once you get a bit more comfortable around her, pretend she's your kid sister and if she steps out of line in any way - tease her. Just be sure to avoid anything mean spirited. It's all about fun. Make the girl associate you with "fun", but not in a clown-like way. Don't make fun of yourself. Pull this off and she'll keep coming back for more.

Also, if feel that the conversation is going to become strained or awkward, find some escape and get out of it before it gets to that point.

P.S. You can talk to her about her favorite movies or whatever, but don't "interview" her or spill out your feelings about stuff.

do you like this girl?
I don't really think that you guys are compatible, if you were the things to talk about would come freely.
Are you comfortable with her? Just try and relax and talk about family, how your day was, friends ask her questions about herself so that you can find out what her interests are and ask her about those.

gossip, boy and girls relationship(BGR) and opinion on how she think about her work, life and hobby but the most BGR always works. the conversation could last more than 3 hours if you can last.

Themselves.

Seriously, relationships. Ask about their friends, how they got to know them, quirks, etc.

Anything. Depends what she is into. I can go on and on about school and work.
