a saying is just a saying...it's you who controlled your life...so if you cheat again it's not because the saying is true but it's always your choice and your own decision....

Actually, you can play semantics and use all sorts of verbal ploys to disguise cheating and try to get away... but if you do something that YOU wouldn't want your mate to also do... well, you pretty much know the score without being told or given 1,001 examples.

Can a cheater ever change? Yes. I have. I lost a very good woman (intelligent, hard working, meticulously clean and neat in all her matters, educated, dedicated to the home, honest beyond belief, loyal, thoughtful, kind, loving, etc., etc) and I have learned a very good lesson in life... but it was too late. I learned this "lesson" while I was not cheating but being most faithful... but, in the final analysis, I paid for those misdeeds I thought I had gotten away with from years before.

What would I give now to be with her again? I'd probably give my soul if I had one! I learned my lesson about 20+ years ago and I still pine over my loss.

no some people change all though it dose seem that most cheaters do keep doing the same things over and over some people never learn! but we cant say that all people who have cheated are going to do it again! it really all depends on who it is and if they have a good heart and they are not really bad people they just make bad decisions and still be a good person i admit ive cheated more than once but since ive been in the relationship im in now i havent ive grown up and realized its not worth it and i did find the one im happy with! as long as your doing the right thing now thats what counts! good luck in your relationship!

Definitely not. Stand back and examine why you cheated in the first place? Are you really looking for something else, or was it just one night of satisfying sex? It's 2006 honey, and casual sex is much more acceptible. Most people can't stand the thought of having sex with only one person for the rest of their life.

once a cheater.. always a cheater.

the saying goes to prove.. if you cheated once.. it makes you a cheater for life.. doesnt matter if you think you wont do it again.. if you did it once.. whats stopping you the next time.

It depends on the person. Some people are faithful while others cheat every day every hour.

A kiss isn't cheating.

Cheating is active, on-going dating with another, leading up to, and including, sex of any caliber

The only thing I can say is that any relationship is based on trust. If you cannot trust the one you're with your relationship will likely deteriorate over time.
