It depends do you know these people or is this a first time visit. After I invite the person over I usually have dishes out for them to eat already. If you are invited the host should already know that you are bringing your appetite with you so they should already have something made or offer to make you something. But if not and you are thirsty ask politely if they have something to drink if they are a good host they will ask you if you would also like something to eat with that.

If you are hungry whilst on the doorstep, go find something to eat, if you get hungry whilst in the house, why not say you are hungry and do they mind if you pop and out and get a takeaway, and do they want anything, they will either offer their own food, or decline, but you will be free to leave and get some food!
AFTER A FREE MEAL????? thats just rude!

It depends on how close I am with the "peeps". If it were my parents' or my best buds house I would.
If it were total strangers I wouldn't give a hint. If I know them fairly well I would probably inform them that I had not eaten but I would not ask.

First of all, do these "peeps" know you? Unless you are starving and are weak, no, you should not ask for food. If these are friends of yours, you could ask, "hey, do u have a cookie or apple. I did not have a chance to eat". But next time u see them, u should have something for them to snack on like cookies, etc.

That would be rude. Say you're hungry and would they like to go out and eat. They may offer to make you something at that point.

Yes, very improper.

Eat before you visit somebody.

What is "peeps" - if that is short for people - then u better not ask because they will know soon enough that u are an ill mannered lout.

The best way to avoid this unfortunate situation is to ALWAYS carry cheese in your pocket.

why ask when you just go in thier fridge yourself and take what the heck you want.

just take it and tell your host to shut up and like it.

if they dont like it, tell them you wont bless them with your presence anymore.
