Nice Guy ~
Cus D'Amato (Tyson's original Trainer) once said "Every fighter has fear" and there was Rocky Balboas little tid bit about "Frankie Fear" anyway. Some would say "Fear is a too strong of a word" or "Floyd's pound for pound the best fighter in the world, why would he be afraid"
Pretty Boy Floyd was offered 8 million dollars to fight Antonio Margarito, that's 6 million more than he's getting for his fight with Baldomir. Smell that, that's fear.
Boxing is a business and the purpose of the business is to make money, how much money does he need? Floyd said "I like to get more Belts, I like the jewelry" This doesn't even make sense, it's fear.
Notoriety? EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS brings plenty.

I'm a big fan of Margarito, but IMO none of the top guys are "afraid" of him per se, includng Mayweather. They might not want to fight him now, because there's bigger money fights on the horizon. If the long rumored Mayweather/De La Hoya matchup ever comes off Floyd will make an insane amount of scratch. As soon as Margarito gets a little more notoriety among fight fans and the general public--which will make a matchup with him more lucrative--I think he'll have a pretty easy time getting top notch fights.

No. no. no The risk is not equal to the pay day.
Floyd wants the big pay day aginst Delahoya. Would you risk 25million in a fight with magarito. He knows that the margarito fight will always be there. Why not let it build and hope Antonio gets that big win that makes him a true star. And cash in later.----Its just smart business.
PS. I d think AM is a very good fighter but lacks the 5star hand speed to be an elite fighter.

Yes they are!
I would love to see Judah or Mayweather fight Margarito...im a Judah fan, but i think he is afraid of him...now that Judahs career is down the tubes, i dont think he will get a chance....but hopefully Mayweather v Margarito in the future.
