He has 4 kids and I have one and we live 1 1/2 hours apart. i work most weekends, and he works weekdays... We test, msn, and call each other all the time, but hardly get to see each other at all. We both want the same thing out of life, a long term, commited thing, but is this worth it... this hurts?

it's like a long distance relationship. give it a few months to what kind of progress you make toward the future...

I have a little bit of the same thing happenin for me. U really need to feel inside ur heart. If u really feel happy and love him, just keep in touch with him the ways u do now. If the problem carries on for a longer period of time, and u are sure in thick love, maybe one of u should quit ur job and move in with th other. I think, if more time goes, like yrs, on and u r apart if u guys arent in navagate touch, u should break up and become friends. Listen to these others.

I can relate.

My girlfriend and I live close together but our work schedules conflict. I work early in the mornings and she works later at night. So by the time I get home from work she's just starting! It does hurt. but you simply have to deal with it, the longer you go without seeing him the even better it will be when you finally do see him.
