Ok,so my fiancee expects me to talk to him every second of the day.I actually do have other things that go on in my life.Dag,can't I just sit down and watch tv without having to try and answer questions or conversate during my favorite show?I mean,I love him,but does that mean we are joined at the hip?Honestly,I am used to being able to have my own quiet time and I don't want to entrude if he is busy or into his sports. He says nothing is more important than me,but its not the issue of importance. It's just pure common respect for what others like to do.I like to sit alone sometimes,I like to watch my soap operas,I sometimes don't have a lot to say at the time.help me!!! Tell me what to do.Am I wrong?

IT WOULDN'T HURT TO TALK TO HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE THEN GO HAVE YOUR QUIET TIME. IT SEEMS A LITTLE DISRESPECTFUL TO NOT TALK TO HIM. IT MIGHT BE HURTFUL . THAT MAN WILL BE YOUR HUSBAND, YOUR COMPANION, YOUR PARTNER, YOUR LOVE, YOUR FRIEND, ONE DAY WHEN NO ONE ELSE MAY BE THERE FOR YOU, YOU NEVER KNOW. TRY SOME TOGETHER TIME WITH HIM TOO.

Well if you dont talk to him all day, there is something, wrong. If you guys are camplatible than you should be able to carry out conversation throughout the day without even thinking about it. I know I go days without talking to my parents becaues they are annoying and sometimes piss me off, and if feels really wierd like they dont exsist, but I talk to my grama every few minuets. So yeah there is something wrong if you can go that long without talking to each other, if you are in each others presence.

You are not doing anything wrong. Your fiancee seems to have a problem with respecting your time alone and space. You need to sit down and tell him this. He probably doesn't even realize he is doing this.

He is your fiancee now, imagine how he's going to be when your actually married. In a way it's a good thing that he wants to have a conversation with you, i think it's sweet that he want's to be with the one he loves, which is you girl. so just give a break, and go along with him.

Sense when did men start wanting their woman to talk? And not to be racist but especially african american woman cuz they tend to talk more than other races??

Lol, this is news to me. I'd find it flattering that my fiance wanted to conversate with me... it sounds like you need "me" time vs. time to watch a tv show.

Have you ever snuck off to the park or a movie alone?

It's good stuff I promise!

NOOOO. Don't get married! This guy is too needy, you will be joined at the hip to him for life then have to be his mommy/nursemaid when he gets old. Run, run, runnity run.
