AHHHH thats a crazy story. Well I am a colour tech, but unfortunately I live in canada. So first off, you must have had red in your hair previous to going into the salon, and it was probably dark? So what it seems that they did was tried to bleach out the colour, but they didnt use a high enough volume peroxide, which in turn gives orange tones. Your hair is going to be very brittle now since youve already processed it twice. You could try again to lighten over the peices, but do not apply bleach to your scalp. That should never be done. Im not sure what look you are trying to acheive, but the best bet might be to die your hair back to its natural colour, then after a few shampoos, the lighter peices will lighten a bit, giving it a naturally highlighted look. Good luck

Need more info. I'm not sure if you bleached over hair that was colored red or vice versa tried to color over bleached or lightened hair with a red dye that had a red orange base??????? Since I don't know about your color I do not want to suggest a color because it might make it worse. For the condition of your hair, I will highly suggest that you go to a salon and get re constructor treatments for the dryness and damage. You should get your money back from the stylist that did this to your hair, plus she should have to pay for the conditoning treatments. I do think you will be able to fix the color, but I think you should wait and in the mean time, some of the weird color might fade out, then you can recolor. Good Luck

I would highly recommend leaving your hair be for now before it falls out but you need to make an appt to a reputable hair salon no matter the costs. Also,,, I hope to goodness you got your money back on that color job. If not I would demand it and make a big stink about it when the place was full of customers and if they still refuse, save your receipt and take pictures, go see your dr. over the burning of the scalp, save those bills and file a complaint and lawsuit. Good luck.

1 - Be sure to get your money back from the first salon...
2 - Stay away from any perm color for a while. Your scalp needs to heal. and your hair needs some major cond treatments.

3 - If the color is really bad and you can not live with it. Look for a semi perm color like Jazzings http://www.thecreativestudio.com/dispensary/swatches/jazzing_swatches.html or Beautiful Browns by Clairol that will cover your current color. But you will have to go darker not lighter. If you use Beautiful brown it will turn out darker then what you think.. Ask the supply store for help or a salon

Good Luck

I think the best thing to do right now is 2 let ur scalp breath. if it looks really bad than try dying it back 2 ur natural color and hold off on doing anything Else for about 6 weeks. u should also use lots of conditioner and leave in conditioners to try to revive ur hair back to the way it was. Good Luck!

I would not dye your hair anymore if you are having a scalp reaction as it will only irritate it more. I would cut my hair into a funky short style and go purchase some shampoos specifically for blonde hair - one good one is called "Blond As". They are expensive but they will reduce any copper effects of the bleaching. You can tell a proper blond shampoo as it will be a purple colour (conditioners as well) Good luck!

DONT do to any extent further bleaching. As you're burned try a pink shampoo like galvanize touch of Silver, two times a week brightening shampoo. It turns bleached virgin hair white. Then condition with the comparable form of conditioner. it relatively is low-fee and attainable at Sally's and Ive considered it at Asda. There are different manufacturers of pink shampoos too if this one isnt attainable like shimmer lighting fixtures furnishings. As your hair is actual porous now from bleaching it would take up the pink too a lot which you dont choose, merely wash contained in the galvanize and wash out as we communicate away. If its no longer white notice back, pass away a minute or so. try this till white. It final 2 to 3 days then you definately would desire to bathe back. Use a protien or keratin reconstructor for breakage. Ion reconstructor at sallys yet extreme st shop manufacturers have them now too. you will desire to have used a toner like guidelines white toner or Wella white lady with a low quantity developer as quickly as to procure to a diminished yellow. in case you utilize toners persist with the learning precisely by using fact such bleached hair is amazingly porous and can take up too most of the violet or blue which takes days to bathe out.

UGH!

Denise's Salon off Adams and Crenshaw, on Crenshaw in the strip mall with El Pollo Loco. She's Black, but I have seen her work miracles on all types and colors of hair.

aw i am so sorry about your hair, that's devastating :( do some research for salons in your area on www.citysearch.com . that's how i found my hair salon, i like reading reviews written by real customers, its more trustworthy than taking credentials off a salons website.

i had a friend that had that happen, it was aweful, but for now, but some aloe vera on your head,( for burns) and do a hot oil treatment for moisture. (which you can buy vo5 ones that are heatless). Leave conditioner in, don't wash it out. and wash and scrub your hair very frequently.
that may help,
