men don't care much about what gifts you give them, it's the sincerty and thought that matters. so, be honest and sincere!
but try not to get him a shirt. in my place, when you give your gf/bf a shirt or dress, the relationship will go to hell! it's a stupid taboo but I made that mistake and not long after, my gf broke up with me. furthermore, many other couples experienced that thing!
okay. enough bad news.
why don't you give him something small and simple and he can carry it around everyday without him feeling embarassed? just a suggestion...

a pair of boxerz..calvin klein or some tommy h boxerz with the same brand perfume..cuz the best thing in the word istaking off the boxez you bought him and making love to your partner smelling good the perfume you bought him

something that needs a battery or attached to a wire, if not a box of lingerie , that you promise to wear the next time you guys get into the sack. get him a card with a hand made ticket to touch you anywhere he wants with you wearing that piece of lingerie.
