It got to be iron. Melting point 1535 degrees Celsius which is higher than calcium. It conducts heat well and is readily available in red meat, milk, eggs etc. All your red blood cells contain iron too, so you will need a constant daily supply of iron to produce more red blood cells.

Yeah, the melting point for salt is 800 degrees C and if you eat too much it can kill you.

Ok, I did some more research and found that the most abundant element in all our organic food is Carbon. And get this: It's melting point is in excess of 3550 degrees Celcius. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, since we generally don't eat Carbon as just Carbon, but rather as a part of molecules of organic cells.
