Food poisoning usualy involves diahrea only, and will last about a day or two.
Stomach flu can last up to a week and involves vomitting and diahrea. The stomach flu is much, much, more miserable than food poisoning.

Usually stomach flu is viral, and food poisoning is bacterial. Both end up with the same results.

food poisoning makes you have uncontrollable diarreah, the most horrible stomach pains EVER, vomiting uncontrollably, you can barely stand up because of the pain...stomach flu is very similar, but you will have a temperature, and it's a little more controllable, a little more... go to the doctor, because, either one, you could dehydrate very quickly.
