Food poisoning is caused by eating spoiled food and also causes nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

The stomach flu is a virus that you get that makes you extremely sick and sometimes will make you dehydrated if you don't keep drinking. You usually only have it for a day or two. Food poisoning is what you get from spoiled or food that was not prepared properly.

Food poisoning usualy involves diahrea only, and will last about a day or two.
Stomach flu can last up to a week and involves vomitting and diahrea. The stomach flu is much, much, more miserable than food poisoning.

Usually stomach flu is viral, and food poisoning is bacterial. Both end up with the same results.

food poisoning makes you have uncontrollable diarreah, the most horrible stomach pains EVER, vomiting uncontrollably, you can barely stand up because of the pain...stomach flu is very similar, but you will have a temperature, and it's a little more controllable, a little more... go to the doctor, because, either one, you could dehydrate very quickly.
