I always use it and I don't even know what it's for!

its supposed to release positive/negative bonds to your hair, whichi s supposed to make it less frizzy, and less damaging when it dries. Now im not sure if it actually works, but im a stylist and i use one at my salon. So maybe we both got scammed into gimmicks! ahaha

It's for idiots. It doesn't do anything. It's a marketting gimick, designed for the astrology-reading, new-age, Gaia-enthusing-without-understanding, idiots. But if you're particularly guillable, and have purchased a more expensive 'ionic' hairdryer, the button might light-up. Coooool! Doh!

It's supposed to release ions that help speed up the time to dry hair, or something like that. It's the new thing thats out and supposed to be better, like ceramic hair straighteners. I have found a difference with using ionic blowdryers.

It says it will help ur hair not turning out that frizzy after blowdrying ur hair

it might help control static from accumulating in your hair.
