The biggest problem with tylenol is that too much kills your liver and other organs start to decay. This starts with just a few per day. There isn't much safety margin over what the recommended dosage is. REad the warnings very carefully.
Take something else, like ibuprofen or aspirin or hit yourself on the head, it's better than what will happen if you destroy your liver.

You could eat 30 + OD and if you survive you'd probably have a Toxic liver and liver damage....you would most likely throw up before you would OD on Tylenol, but it's possible. Your body can only absorb so much. Children's Tylenol only contains 30 because it is the limit where they would OD.
I'd call your local Poison Control Center and ask them.

There are pains that over the counter pain relievers aren't strong enough no matter how many you take. If the regular dose of Tylenol isn't working for you, more won't make it any better. The bad thing about Tylenol is the potential for liver damage if you take more than the recommended amount. See your doctor for a more effective medication.

Tylenol is bad for your liver. It would be hard to OD on Tylenol. But if tylenol is not working for you talk to your dr. about a prescribe pain killer. Maybe you messed up your back or something. trust me too much tylenol will mess up your liver for life

As little as two times the recommended dose of acetaminophen (Tylenol) has been known to cause severe liver damage.
This drug is especially dangerous to children if recommended doses are exceeded.
DO NOT TAKE MORE that the recommended dose. Sorry - just not safe.
If you really need more relief, 800mg of Advil/Ibuprofin - twice the non-prescription recommended dose - can generally be taken safely. (I've been taking 800mg of Ibuprofin 1-3 times a day for 7 years for pain)
Sorry about your pain - hang in there!

Tylenol will also cause LIVER damage.
If you are taking more than 6 a day you may need to see a doctor.

I've never o.d.'d on tylenol, but i did take way too many ibuprofen once. It wasnt really that many either. I felt horrible though; I had cold sweats, felt really sick, hot flashes! It lasted for about 2 and a half hours, too! I make sure to keep up with how many ibuprofen i take now.

Go to the doctor and find something else to manage your pain. Obviously Tylenol is not cutting it so you might need something stronger or a different type of drug (anti-inflammatory for example.)
