Since God sees through our eyes he comments on what to do and what not to do. As for the suffering, remember it was Adam and Eve who turned away from God, not the other way around. He will never leave nor forsake us, because he knows what it is like to be a human. After all, He was one once. If God had eliminated suffering long ago, His plans to help us prosper and to have life to the fullest (Jeremiah 29:11) would not have happened and would not happen as He planned. As a youth leader once told the youth at Village Creek Bible Camp, "Since when does God work on our terms?" I tell you, He works on our terms if it for the better, though we may not recognize it at the time.

God uses everyones life in different ways. With no poor, there would be no rich. With no sick, there would be no health. See my point? God will test us all. Why is it that most ill or unwealthy Christians live more for God than healthy or wealthy people?
God uses everyones lives differently. Some as a warning sign to others. As a Christian, you have to accept this and have a talk with God and ask him for a sign to let you know everything will be alright.

Some of the strongest Christians I have ever met were Ill and/or unwealthy. They were also the most content people I have ever met. Only God really knows what is on the inside and in the hearts of others.

God gave Adam and Eve a chance to choose to do what is right. Because of their sins we all are suffering. Not only them. We each make a choice to do right or wrong. He knows there is suffering out there, and He cries for us. He also wants us to learn to take care of others when we see suffering. He does loves us so much, but He can't tolerate sin. He is Holy.

There has to be good and evil, joy and pain or an opposition in all things for us to develop faith and learn the difference between the two. All this is for our growth and development. It gives us many opportunities to serve others.

Sometimes it does look a little overwhelming though since we are now more acutely aware of the needs of others and yet, often our eyes refuse to see how we can help those about us.

He wants you to see through HIS eyes, not Him through yours. If you see there is suffering, then you ARE seeing through His eyes and YOU must act upon it to ease suffering. We are created for good works. This is a testing ground. Suffering is here, because it is in nature to have suffering in a sinful world. Imagine if there was no consequences for sin....we would not learn to hate it would we? Suffering is many times caused by sin. Families and children suffer because of the actions of sinful people many times. If you can see it, then you must try and relieve it. THIS is HOW you see through the eyes of God.

You are moving in the right direction. Keep it up.
This is a question my wife and I go around and around on.
Toasters. You pop the bread in and it pops up when done - but humans aren't toasters. We get to do our own thing. It is a great gift of God, but we still aren't sure how to use it.
Thus, Saddam had the freedom to commit genocide on the Kurds. He chose to use it and created enormous suffering. On the other hand, Mother Theresa had the freedom to devote her life to the dieing in Bombay. She chose to do so and gave infinite peace to many.
So God had the choice - toasters or people. He chose people. I'd go further, but my bread just popped....

Why does He need our physical eyes when He has the plan?

The plan He intended was much different than mankind has brought into the picture.
Adam and Eve had everything but thru freewill choice(given thru Him)....they opted to think they could do better.

He offered them the world in all perfection .... they chose to go a different route with no assurances of truth and found their actions would cost in generations to come.

Thank goodness for forgiveness thru Him!

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her, "How could God let something like this happen?" (regarding the 9/11 attacks)
Anne Graham answered, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government, and to get out of our lives. And, being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and protection if we demand He leave us alone?"

You can't blame God for what man has brought upon themselves. (Or, I suppose you can if you want to, but that's between you and HIm.)

A lot of "ifs" honey! From what I heard God does what He wants, when He wants, how He wants. We can't really guess at what he'd do in certain situations. Hope that helps.
