Yes, there is still reason to take a multi vit.
Your cereal may say 100% of "certain" vitamins but I am betting not ALL. Even then, how much of that 100% is actually being absorbed by your body at any given time??
Your body metabolizes things at different levels,, only so much at one time. Besides even the 100% suggested ammount for vitamins is the MINIMUM ammount you should eat daily to prevent disease. That's like driving your car on fumes everyday because you know -- just this much-- will get me there without stalling.

You should also take a multivitamin/mineral because even though the cereal says it has 100% in it, it doesn't have all the minerals that you need. And nothing beats getting these nutrients naturally, through a well balanced diet.

If your cereal has 100% of everything you want, then, NO. There's no point in taking additional vitamin supplements.
You will get additional vitamins from the other foods you eat throughout the rest of the day, also.

your body only can intake vitamin C at a certain rate so even if it's 100% does not mean that your body is absorbing it all.
You are better off taking vitamin c throughout the day ...that way you have a constant supply available for intake

your body uses more vitamins than just a once daily multi-vitamin the more you get at staggered times during the day the better your body uses and absorbs them
