Usually it's the ones who write books who claim that!

Peace and Blessings

at first this would seem a very strange question,

however i have read many books where the authors claim to have been Wiccan or Pagan, and then they go on to tell lies about the religion that they calim to have been a member of.
and do everything that they can to turn the preception of the
earth religions to darkness or demon worship.

so i would imagain that anyone that was Wiccan or pagan that became Christian would tell people about it if asked but not make a big deal out of it. however people that want to sell books will lie about having been Wiccan or Pagan to try to lend some validity to their lies.

What Would Jesus Think

Probably a lot fewer than you wish. The people at my church don't even know. I don't want them to think I was weird. The Fr. at our church knows, and he's about the only one.

Sure, people like Shnoebellen, Todd/Collins lied, but I can spot them. Usually they have a story about being part of a secret government conspiracy where the "real" witches are. And there's usually a story of heroin addiction somehwere in there.

I was basically boring occultist with a lot of books. Nothing as exciting as Shnobellen or Collins.

Nope, can't say I have. Do you know someone who did this, thus prompting the question? I think that might be hard to pull off, especially if an actual Wicca-knowledgable person heard him/her making things up!

*sigh* You caught me.

I DESPERATELY wanted attention. So I pretended to be a Wiccan.

Not me because I don't know what or how to be wiccan.

It seems a very odd question!!!

Why would anyone do that to "get attention?"

very interesting. I told them I was a frog prince...to get attention...like that?

Lied, no. I did practice the occult a while in my teens. It is quite evil. Jesus saved me from it and showed me a much better way.
