am i a racist against my kind (white) and against black ? How could i make my parents accept me with a brown skin guy ? I still leave in their house ,so what should i do ?

girl, i went through the same sh*t when i first got wit my fiance. i was 14 and he was 16 and now im almost 20. were still together. it took a while for my parents to accept it but they came around. i found that my fiance coming around helping my dad work on his car or going to the store for my mom really helped. little things like that, so they can see that just because he is black doesnt mean anything. everyone has different taste. and its 2006 hello?.. i dont even know why there is still racism out there?..but who knows..my whole family is kinda like that..but o well im in love im happy and thats all that matters to me. i have my parents now and the rest of my family can kiss as* because if they were my family... they are supposed to love and support you NO MATTER WHAT! and if they cant accept who you fall in love with.. or who you want to date. o well..they will eventually get over it.. wait till you get pregnant and tell them you are having a mixed baby... hah.. o.. the reaction i got..it will be ok! lol* good luck i wish you the best..but i would tell your bf about everything and im sure he will accept it. tell your parents about him.. let them know that he is a great guy and he really likes you..just sit down and have a talk with them and tell them that you want them to meet him.. and then they can say something.. let them get to know him.. if they still dont like him..tell them to read a bible or go to church.. cuz jesus wasnt white either!! at least thats what i beleive! I just don't understand sometimes. We are white and some of us just don't like brown people and yet we're forever sitting under the sun to have a tan.... Doesn't make sense at all. Black is beautiful. It doesn't matter what your parents says, they are not the one who will live with the brown guy.
At first they won't but They will accept him later.... so go for it.

1) Date who you want to. Deal with the backlash. Your parents will eventually come around.
2) Move out of your parents' house. Live your own life.
If you find that you actively hate white guys instead of just not wanting to date them i would worry about self-racism and i would do some serious thinking about why you feel this way... Otherwise it is just a matter of preference and attraction, which is perfectly normal and healthy.

i'm asian. my parents wants me to date asian girls. I think it's just something that parents think. I know the main reason that my parents wants me date asian girls is so the culture is similar. and also the communication issue.
BUT! I've been away from home for too long. I live in australia. I don't think as asians live in asian countries. I guess the only way for them to understand is time. speak to them. both your parents and the person who you see. when your parents are ready, bring the guy home and show them that he is a person who treats you like how you should be treated, and that he's no different then any other white guy. good luck with all.

First of all, how old are you, even if you aren't over 18 you are free to like whoever you want to like, pay no attention to your parents, because it is your taste and choice, preference, so just ignor them and date who you like, they can't tell you who to like, you are the one who will make that decision, not them. even if you are still living under their roof, they need to respect you, let them know how you feel, don't allow them to treat you this way now, because later on if you end up with someone from a different race then they will really treat you wrong,
In other words, set them straight, you have to have the ability to put your foot down on that, whether the person you end up with is white, yellow, brown, red, whatever.

thats good that you like black boys thats not bad are parents come from this old lyfe back in 1960's where there was alot of racist but it doesnt even matter if you like a blk mexican or what ever and blk and whites together makes really cute babies and couples so dont let your parents tell you how to live your private life

You may have to wait to "officially" date til you move out. In the meantime, make good friends with whomever you want and just put dating on hold til you can date who you wish without having to feel like you're dating life is a lie.
