I'm pretty sure that when the Quran describes inheritance, it does not put the requirement that the heirs must also be Muslim.

His reward shall be the kingdom of God.

Does he need that earthly wealth?

My friend, a Pakistani Christian (ex-Muslim) just inherited a piece of land from his Muslim father. I think he is selling them to further his christian education.

But that is his luck and God grace. His rewards is already in heaven.

Where do they live? In the US, the only thing you should need to inherit their property is their will.

it depends on the parents (father or in father's absence the mother), but it is a must that all children be given their share of the property, whether they decide to be a muslim or not.
