i always feel embarassed to laugh , and i see that braces can change something.
i know my parents will object to it, coz they take it stupid to have braces, remember they are 4rom africa.
how can conveince, them ??

Hmm, how to convince parents? Your going to have to show them how much it means to you. Show them what the outcomes are.(pictures) Show them that it is a good investment. (how it can affect future jobs, social events) Braces are very expensive so it may depend on your family's financial situation. you may have to work at trying to convince them that it is a good investment towards the future. Be firm don't let them convince you otherwise, it's your future! Good luck and don't give up!!

You don't have to convince them talk to your dentist and if he/she feels you need braces then let the dentist talk to them and explain the health benefits of haveing them and the risks of not correcting a crooked smile. It is not just an aesthetic situation.

Well, just go up to them and tell them that you saw your dentist and you're asked to get braces. If your parents say that they wanna see the dentist then take them with your and they'll know the truth.

First, show them this posting of yours, and try to explain your concerns in your own way.
Then I would ask your parents to visit an orthodontist with you, and let the dental professional make the argument for braces.

First convince another adult you trust that you need them.. then get them to help you convince your parents. Find research information on the ramificaasion of not correctly dental problems. Otherwise hold out until you are 18. Then work your booty off to pay for them yourself.

Go to the dentist- he/she will tell you if you need braces. If a professional opinion does not convince your parents, I don't know what will.

Just show them your big smile in a family portrait.
Do u have medical insurance? if you dont, then probably thats the reason they dont want to get you braces. braces are prety pricey.

Why would you want braces? they suck! Learn to be happy with yourself and smile when you are happy and don't care what you look like. Life is too short to care so much about your looks. Good luck...
