i want to know because i need a place to park my Fleetwood Revolution while volunteering on the Haitat for Humanity site

Yes, sweetie, the others are right. That's a nasty neighborhood to park an RV or anything else. It WILL be broken into. I live near there, and I can say that crime is definately getting worse around here as people lose FEMA money and come home to nothing. I'd look for an RV park with a SECURITY GUARD on duty at all times, and just take a bus to where you are working, or see about car-pooling with other workers. Thanks for helping here in New Orleans, but you must take off the rose-colored glasses if you plan to survive here.

You probably don't want to stay in that neighborhood.

No offense intended, I just would not recommend it. Not with that rig especially. That was/is and always has been a rough part of a rough town.

Depends on your tolerance for senseless, violent crime of course. You may feel right at home in Baghdad, but I doubt it.

Call the local Habitat office and ask for recommendations.

Oh, and thanks! I do at least two Habitat Saturdays a year.

call City Hall and ask them. maybe they can help with rv parks.
