I think that people mostly take love and relationships for granted in their lives. That's why it hurts so much when you lose a person. Or, really all the little things that happen in a person's life. All the small things that cannot be bought or sold. Love, trust, honor, etc...

a lot take their spouse for granted, thinking the spouse would stand for anything (rude behavior, bad language, smoking and other addictions, cheating, etc.).
