Also, I have heard that through some sheer coincidence some aftermarket honda cold air intakes will work on the ranger.
I had 2.3L Rnager and I thought that K&N made both a replacement filter and a complete cold air system for the 2.9L and the 4L rangers. Check online.

Nope just a replacement k & n panel filter. If you're looking for power do a 4.0 swap it bolts right in, or go for a v8 swap.
