my gf has had a bad past and crys about it alot but she is only telling me part of the story couse she thinks when i hear the rest i wont like her and i wont. how do i prove i wont be like most guys and have to save her and ruin everything.

What is it that you need to "prove" her? I don't understand the question. She needs to get over whatever it is that's haunting her; you can be there for her, but you can't change the way she's feeling until she is ready to change herself.

Bro as what i can see, you are a wonderful bf and loves your gf dearly! There is 3 things you have to have... that is: Trust, Love and Assurance. You have to prove to her that she can trust you and you can be trusted, love her just like the way she is and will always love her even after what has happened... tell her that was her past and you dont care abt her past... all you care is your future with her and you thank her for being honest with you... and assure her that you will always lover her and be loyal to her no matter what happens... Girls are different from men... they are more emotional involve in every issue that comes to them... all you need is to be youself and give her the assurances that you have love her and will love her after that...and nothing can or will change after that... just be truthful to yourself and her... and make her feel that she knows you love her no matter what happen or has happened... just be youself and do the 3 things and you will be alright... takecare and good luck!

the best way To handle a situation like this is just continue to make her feel like she can trust u and just give her time. she'll tell u when she feels like the time is right. u cant rush someone with a harsh past to practically tell the media about what happened. just continue to be there for her and try not to push it out of her. shell tell u when the time is right for her. good luck!!!:)

sounds like it's too early to say.....sometimes proving yourself includes just being there and listening, don't try to fix anything, if you put in the time with her and are patient, she'll trust you with the whole story and you'll love her more for it.

just keep showing her love and support in everything and dont pressure her to tell you, let her tell you when she is ready. just hope you are ready for what she has to tell you! it did make the others run away! this will be your test to see how much you love her!

just keep telling her that it wont effect anything with you two, and just be honest, and hopefully sooner or later she will open up to you more. Good luck!

just stop talking my guy tries to talk to me too you prove you'll love and listen by loving and listening... don't rationalize if she says she isn't ready say OK if she is crying hold her she will say all she needs to say without your prying.... it will take years for her to get ready to say anything if your patient she will eventually open up to you but it will take years
