Each personage in the Godhead is a distinct and separate individual.
Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are called the Godhead. They are unified in purpose. Each has an important assignment in the plan of salvation. Our Heavenly Father is our Father and ruler. Jesus Christ is our Savior. The Holy Ghost is the revealer and testifier of all truth.

Well, first off there's Jehovah/Yahweh, then
Jesus Christ his son, our savior (solely different from God but has the same desires his father has in wanting whats best for Mankind) then
God's Active Spirit Force or the Holy Spirit/Ghost. This is/was created by God or around the time God was created to be used as a force for God to create and "dispense" upon his followers. Sometimes it is denoted with a form of intelligence.
3 seperate beings all having the same agenda. The good of all Angels, Mankind and Heaven & Earth!

No matter how many councils meet to discuss these things, or how many "holy" people pass down their opinion about it, the only way one will fully understand the relationship between God, The Son, and The Spirit is to STUDY, STUDY, and STUDY.
The Apostle John, in his gospel and in his epistles makes a bold and unprecendented stand for the very nature of Christ, our Lord, and the Holy Spirit. He says, The Lord is The Word of God; the Spirit is the Truth. Now, we know these are not the ONLY things they are, but it is essential in understanding.
What did Jesus say...If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. I do the Father's bidding, not my own. I am sent BY the Father, the Father and I are one, I obey the Father.
Seems they get stuck on the idea of ONE. God did not "create" Jesus, He was begotten OF the Father. He is OF spiritual SEED of God and female seed of woman. They are ONE spiritually, just as we are the same flesh of our fathers. Their oneness is unique because it is spiritual. They are also in full agreement with one another, yet each is submissive to the one who sent them. God is over all. Jesus submits to the one who sent Him. The Holy Spirit is the Truth of God, and submits of the "word" of God or the Lord Jesus. Jesus SENT the HS to guide the Apostles into "all truth!" Yet, they are ONE in purpose, mind, intent, and spiritual nature.
Hope this helps.

Cause man has a finite mind and with that mind he has a hard time understanding an infinite God. It is only through the Holy Spirit that spiritual understanding can begin to make any sense. The Bible even tells us this.

Here's what the early Church Fathers (and the Church) taught about the Trinity.
Irenaeus of Lyons
"It was not angels, therefore, who made us nor who formed us, neither had angels power to make an image of God, nor anyone else . . . For God did not stand in need of these in order to the accomplishing of what he had himself determined with himself beforehand should be done, as if he did not possess his own hands. For with him [the Father] were always present the Word and Wisdom, the Son and the Spirit, by whom and in whom, freely and spontaneously, he made all things, to whom also he speaks, saying, 'Let us make man in our image and likeness' [Gen. 1:26" (Against Heresies 4:20:1 [A.D. 189]).
Tertullian
"And at the same time the mystery of the oikonomia is safeguarded, for the unity is distributed in a Trinity. Placed in order, the Three are the Father, Son, and Spirit. They are three, however, not in condition, but in degree; not in Being, but in form; not in power, but in kind; of one Being, however, and one condition and one power, because he is one God of whom degrees and forms and kinds are taken into account in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (Against Praxeas 2 [A.D. 216])
Gregory the Wonder-worker
"But if they say, 'How can there be three Persons, and how but one Divinity?' we shall make this reply: That there are indeed three persons, inasmuch as there is one person of God the Father, and one of the Lord the Son, and one of the Holy Spirit; and yet that there is but one divinity, inasmuch as . . . there is one substance in the Trinity" (A Sectional Confession of Faith 8 [A.D. 262]).
Fulgence of Ruspe
"See, in short you have it that the Father is one, the Son another, and the Holy Spirit another; in person, each is other, but in nature they are not other. In this regard he [Christ] says, `The Father and I, we are one' [John 10:30]. He teaches us that `one' refers to their nature and `we are' to their persons. In like manner it is said, `There are three who bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Spirit, and these three are one' [1John 5:7]. Let Sabellius hear 'we are,' let him hear 'three,' and let him believe that there are three Persons" (The Trinity 4:1 [A.D. 513]).

I say that God is one God, three different manifestations.
It was certainly drilled into Israel: Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one!
God is a spirit.
God was in Christ, reconciling the world back to himself.
In him (Christ) dwelt all of the fulness of the godhead bodily.
When Jesus was asked to show the father, he said "Have I been with you for so long, and you haven't known me?
When you have seen me, you've seen the father".
His name shall be called Immanuel, which means "God with us".
Actually, this is not what say I, but what the scriptures say.

The Torah is quite clear on what the GODHEAD is as it is the basis of the CHRISTIAN religion.
The Creator is called by many names (the Self created one, the Ancient of Days, Yahweh, Jehovah)
The Nicene council was the Catholic Church that threw out many of the OLD TESTAMENT BOOKS as being to JEWISH in nature or not in line with what they wanted to preach.
They put in others things to make you dig deeper in your pockets to support them.

The Trinity does include God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Ghost. Also in the 'spirit realm are Peace, Justice, Wisdom, and Understanding.

God is the biggest. God is the smallest. God is all knowing and knows nothing. God is everwhere. God is nowhere. God is male. God is female. God is neither and more. God is all and all is God. God is three. God is one. God is none. The only name God really has is Love. All esle is but an illusion. We try to define God because we were given language. Without language we could trully imagine God. If I were not trying transmitt my vision of God, I would never ever use the name God... never ever define God... give God any name... save Love.
