i have found that flashing a smile is always (i mean ALWAYS) a winner. Girls usually just check out guys that they like and walk on. Sometimes, just sometimes they are brave enough to maintain eye contact, but smiling at him, almost never. So if you smile, it will throw him off guard, he will instantly feel you to be a welcoming and open person and he'll walk right up and start a conversation. It never hurts to be the first one to say hi either.

The best way for a girl to get my attention is if shes unique, original and is not afraid to be herself which ever way it is. Someone who doesnt care what other people think.

you should just be your normal self, you want this (or any) guy to like you for you.............shy is NOT a bad thing..........but just be the same person that you are with your girl friends, and He'll notice you if He's interested, and if He's not; then He's not the one for you, anyway.

start by going up to him and saying "ur ------ right?" hell say yes" k just wondering" then you would just keep slowly talking to him
if you really no him than you slowly start asking him questions to know him better and kinda flirting but dont make it obvious you like him... :) haha
